• Dimensions and weight - Spacious 5.7m² living area with a max. headroom of 1.85m. 12kg.
• Room space - Room with plenty of space for 4 people (2.10 m x 2.40 m).
• Living/storage space - There is enough space (5.7 sq m) for 4 or even 6 people to sit comfortably around a table. The entrance door is protected by a large peak that increases the living space. The large side mosquito net windows, protected by peaks, can be left open even when it's raining. The "rising" groundsheet protects the living area from trickling water.
• UV (Protection from Ultraviolet rays) - Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays. If you are looking for daytime protection, remember that a lot of UV rays reflect off the ground and in through open doors.
• Warranty - All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years under normal conditions of use (your invoice or receipt provides proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.
• Entrance/exit - A large door that can be easily stored in a pocket that is close at hand creating a living area that is open to the outdoors when the weather is fine.
• Pitching / folding away - Here's a tip for pitching your tent: position and secure the groundsheet for the whole tent before unfolding it. This facilitates the proper positioning and pitching of the tent. Then, it unfolds and pitches in under 2 minutes! Folds away in under 5 minutes once you've got the hang of it (detailed instructions supplied, video can be viewed on www.quechua.com website).
• Waterproofing - As with all Quechua tents, a lot of work is put in to ensuring they are watertight, through laboratory testing (an ENTIRE TENT is put through 200 litres/hr/sq m!) and field testing. (PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sq m polyethylene groundsheet, fully thermo-bonded taped seams). NB there is a breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet that prevents naturally-occurring droplets of condensation from touching the inside of the flysheet.
• Ventilation - 1 air vent under the front peaks + 3 above the room, 3 closable mosquito net windows. Everything is designed to allow air to circulate between the inner tent and flysheet, for more breathability and less natural condensation.
• Poles - Made of solid glassfibre with excellent resistance to breaking.
• Pegs - Made of 5 mm diameter galvanised steel with very good twist resistance.
• Carry bag - Disc that is 85 cm in diameter and 15 cm thick. Fitted with a practical zip and 2 straps for occasional carrying.
